Introduction
This soon-to-be published title will be devoted to current ideas in the field of literary critique that will benefit scholars, teachers, researchers looking for in-depth study of the critical concepts and models of the applications. The book will cover a wide range of semantico-aesthetic ideas that have changed the perception of critical analysts and have helped decipher the meaning of literary texts
The Overall Objectives of the Book
The objectives of this scholarly endeavour will be to make a collection of some significant insights, in contemporary criticism and focus on the new theories, which have revolutionised literary study in the past decades. This scholarly collection will serve as an invaluable reference book for Indian students interested in acquiring a comprehensive knowledge of the recent developments in critical theory.
The Target Audience
The audience will include persons of a literary, artistic, cultural taste, intelligentsia seeking clear guidelines into the new poetics.

The collection will represent various schools and include practical applications of the recent theories and methods that make the rich and exciting fields of literary and cultural studies.
Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit the manuscript clearly defining the concept, the approach and providing its model of application on or before March 30, 2011. Authors of chapters will be acknowledged immediately and the acceptance of the chapter will be notified within a week of receipt of the chapter with a note to the authors about the cooperation in terms of editorial board's requirements of clarifications. Manuscripts are accepted for consideration with the understanding that they are original and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Style manuals: Submissions must follow the styles outlines in the Publication Manual of the MLA style
Abstract: all manuscripts should include an abstract of 100 words or less.
Author identification: The complete title of the article and the name (s) of the author(s) should be only on the first sheet and the main text should start on the same sheet. Complete contact information must be supplied for all authors and co-authors, including full address and postal pin code, telephone and e-mail address. The corresponding authors should be identified.
Typescript: Manuscript should be typed on A-4 size paper, double-spaced, with generous margins at top, bottom, and sides of page. They should be in MS Word format. Subheads should be used at reasonable intervals to break the monotony of the text. Pages should be numbered consecutively.
Length: Manuscript for book chapter should typically run between 10 to 15 pages including the reference list.
Notes and references: Notes are for explanations or amplifications of textual material. They are distracting to the readers and expensive to set and should be avoided whenever possible. They should be typed as normal text at the end of the text section of the manuscript rather than as the part of the footnote or endnote feature of computer programme and should be numbered consecutively throughout the article.
A reference list contains only references that are cited in the text. Its accuracy and completeness are the responsibility of the author(s). Personal communications (letters, memos, telephone conversations) are cited in the text after the name with as exact a date as possible. Examples of references to a book, a chapter in book, and journal article etc. follow, formatted in MLA style:
